I'm fine with the wiki getting a ROTR-associated background, as long as it isn't like those lame wiki's that have backgrounds from the game which however clash horribly with the rest of the wiki layout/looks. In short, it has to be a fitting image for the wiki.
I'm talking about how much information should we put in the unit box, for example the weapons should we put the a specific name like AW50 Anti-material rifle in the unit box? I've been thinking that we should just put sniper rifle and move it's specific name in the lore.
When you have the time can you share with me how to create the arsenal templates? The steps and scripts the wiki needed that you imported.
A thought I had was setting up files on a cloud service to explain how to do certain things a wiki, with references to the various sources on the internet.
We [the RotR community] could also have a shared workspace as well on a cloud service, something I've been messing around with and will be sharing on the RotR forum members and those here when time permits.
Hello :) I actually did not yet import any scripts for the templates to work (but I'll try to get on it soon with hopefully good results, what's broken ATM is the collapsibles), all I did was take a basic pre-existing template that works on all wikis which I originally took from this page:
And edited to suit my needs. I didn't follow a guide to do it but it should be pretty self-explanatory, especially if you compare it with the current Template:USAArsenal. I used colorpicker (a website) to change the colors from blue to green or whatever else was there.
